Where are volunteers needed for 2024-2025?
Many volunteers are needed:
Teacher's Assistants Class Monitors Substitutes Hall Monitors Nursery monitors Admin Team assistants Teachers will be needed for 2025-2026. Please email us with your teaching interests by October 2024. |
All volunteers (including parent teachers) must volunteer or remain on campus in an ‘all call’ capacity while your children are in classes. If you're teaching for an hour you will be on call as a floater or placed in another position for the remainder of the school day. We are making this change so that the co-op can run smoothly. We understand that the need will arise for a break to nurse a baby, calm a screaming toddler, etc, but in general we need all hands on deck so that we can cover all positions even when people are out sick.

Our co-op continues to run because of our wonderful volunteers and although it hasn't been mandatory, volunteering is highly encouraged. Volunteers get to take advantage of early registration and reduced rates in many of our classes. The 4k thru 8th grade classes particularly depend on our volunteers to give of their talents and time so that we have a range of affordable classes to give our children. Nursery care is provided for volunteer's children ages 0-4 while you are volunteering, but you may also bring your child with you where you are volunteering if they aren't comfortable in the nursery.
Most of the non-teaching volunteer positions are 3-4 hr long slots (or for as long as your children are attending classes).
The many opportunities to volunteer range from teaching and assisting, to hall monitoring, to nursery monitoring, so please prayerfully consider how you can assist our co-op. We are looking to expand our admin team and need energetic, self motivated individuals for this.
We do need teachers and assistants for all grades for the upcoming school year. If you are interested in teaching but don't know what to teach, let us know! We have preplanned class curricula for the 4k-2nd grade classes so teaching takes very little planning!
We are also happy to have people co-teach a class.
Class planning for the next school year will occur in September and October. Classes should be posted by November.
